The Spirit of Hope Thursday Women's Bible Study has been actively meeting for seventeen years. The group meets weekly on Thursday afternoons from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. at the church. Doors open at 12:45.
Our group uses the Bible Study from the GATHER Magazine, published every other month by WELCA, along with the Bible as our primary sources of study material. Each week presents a unique opportunity for thoughtful and open discussion without judgment or criticism. This safe space lends itself to reflection and answers culminating in a sense of knowledge, understanding, and wellbeing.
Some of the greatest blessings to the Women's Bible Study have come from
our outreach projects. We partner with New Leaf, (formerly CAAFA), to give Christmas gift cards and Mother's Day blessing bags to those experiencing homelessness and domestic violence in our Valley.
We also financially support additional outreach projects through weekly offerings and gifts.
We all need to enrich our lives with the study of God’s word. This is your opportunity to learn with a caring group of women. A rich blessing comes to this group through practicing the love of Jesus.
