Tropical Trek 2026: Three Days to Remember
For three days this summer, our Vacation Bible School became a Tropical Trek where kids showed up expecting fun and left with memories that will stick.
From the moment they arrived, Dennis and Karen were at check-in with open arms and big smiles, making every child feel like they belonged before the day even started.
Jackie poured her heart into pulling it all together, and she couldn’t have done it without the volunteers who gave their time, their energy, and their talents. You made all three days run.
The room came alive with dancing and singing as Jorja and the kids laughed, moved, and lifted their voices without a bit of shyness.
Pastor Kevin brought the Bible message and lesson, speaking truth in a way that met the kids right where they are and gave them something real to hold onto.
After that, Eric treated them to snacks made with the kind of care only he can give. Full bellies, big grins, and a few crumbs left behind.
And to wrap it up each day, Pastor’s wife Erin guided them through crafts where little hands made something special to take home, a reminder of what they heard and felt.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, served, and loved on these kids. Three days, but the impact will last far longer. May Tropical Trek be the start of many more years of faith, friendship, and joy for all of them.
Also a big thank you to our photographer Marcy.
“But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
May every child who walked through those doors know they’re part of a bigger story, one of love, purpose, and God’s unchanging truth.
