This past weekend, our church parking lot transformed into a joyful autumn wonderland for our annual Trunk R Treat celebration—and what a morning it was! Families from all over the community came together for a morning filled with laughter, creativity, and connection, all wrapped in the warmth of fellowship and fall spirit.
🚗 Decorated Trunks That Dazzled
The heart of the event was, of course, the trunk-or-treating! Church members went all out, transforming their car trunks into everything from whimsical Halloween scenes and spooky webs to whimsical candylands. Kids in costume paraded from car to car, collecting candy and compliments in equal measure. The creativity on display was nothing short of inspiring—and the candy haul? Legendary.
🚒 A Special Visit from Our Local Heroes
We were honored to welcome first responders from our local fire and police departments. Not only did they bring their vehicles for the kids to explore (sirens and all!), but they also took time to chat with families, hand out goodies, and remind us all of the importance of community safety. Their presence added a special layer of excitement and gratitude to the morning.
Bounce House Bonanza
The bounce house was a non-stop hub of energy, with little ones bouncing, tumbling, and squealing with delight. It was the perfect outlet for all that sugar-fueled excitement—and a great way for parents to sneak in a few moments of rest!
🎨 Crafting Corner
A cozy craft station offered a quieter space for kids to get creative. The kiddos were invited to create their own masks. It was a beautiful reminder that sometimes the simplest activities create the most cherished memories.
🙏 A Celebration of Community
More than just a festive event, Trunk R Treat was a celebration of faith, family, and community. It was a chance to open our doors (and trunks!) to neighbors, share God’s love in a joyful setting, and create lasting memories for all who attended.
