Dave Stumo, the Music Man, has announced weekly choir practice at Spirit of Hope, from 2:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. weekly beginning Friday, November 11, 2016. So far close to 20 members have indicated an interest in joining, and their first performance will be on Sunday, November 13th.
“I’m looking forward to this,” Stumo says. “I’ve led a number of church choirs and they always inspire me personally and religiously!” Stumo is a winter visitor from Minnesota, with an Arizona home in San Tan Valley, and has been in attendance at Spirit of Hope the past two Sundays. “I have been tickled at the number of church members who have come up to me after services to introduce themselves and welcome me. This will be a real treat!”
Apparently Stumo will line up as many chairs as there are interested singers, who can simply show up on Fridays or reach out on Sundays before or after the service. “However they want to join,” he says, “will be fine with me.”
