Five hundred years ago, Martin Luther kicked off the Reformation, which ultimately split Western European Christianity in two: Catholic and Protestant. Our Lenten service on March 15th at 7:00 p.m. will share a television special produced by Rick Steves (a Lutheran) as he traces the dramatic events of this grassroots movement that changed the course of history. Much of what you will see was filmed on location in Germany and in Rome. For those of you who did not grow up Lutheran, this will be an excellent history lesson.
Here is a sneak peek at the special we will be watching for this Lenten Service. Be sure to come early and join us for our Soup Supper that begins at 6:00 p.m. We look forward to seeing you!
