At Spirit of Hope, we're always excited to welcome new visitors. We hope you'll join us for a service, and we want to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Here's what you can expect when you come to any of our services. Our church is located at 2605 S Signal Butte Rd Mesa, AZ 85209, with parking on the South and East sides of the church. Currently, we are worshipping at 5 PM on Saturdays (traditional worship with contemporary music) and 9:30 AM on Sundays (more traditional). On Saturday, we gather at 4:30 for fellowship before worship and on Sunday we have fellowship after church. Come join us for coffee and treats.You'll have a chance to meet our Pastor and many other people in the church. We'd also love to get to know you so you're a familiar face the next time you come. Please fill out the guest registry at the Welcome Desk.
Please don't worry about what you'll wear to church, for we truly believe people should come to God as they are. You don't need to dress up to get His approval--that comes through Jesus' sacrifice. Once you walk in the doors, you'll see that the congregation has all types of people, in all kinds of dress. While a few people in the church wear ties, others like to remind them that Jesus never wore a tie. Shorts are as welcome as suits, and you'll see both.
When you walk in, our greeters will be there to introduce themselves. They're usually stationed at the front doors, at the Welcome Desk, or in our Cafe Hope area, and they will show you where everything is. They'll help you find the nursery, if you have kids, and will also point you to the restrooms, sanctuary and fellowship area. If you have any questions about the service itself, the greeters will be happy to connect you with our Pastor to answer any questions you may have.
Babies, young children and teens are always welcome in church! Really! For your comfort, there is an unstaffed nursery/crying room where you can hang out and watch service if that is more comfortable for you. Please let the greeter or an usher know if you'd like to use this room.
