Solar Power? Too expensive for Spirit of Hope!
With solar being the energy efficient solution, one might expect it to be a logical way to reduce energy bills at Spirit of Hope, but it’s just not so. Our Facilities Team is led by a core group of members who have developed many energy-efficient strategies, including motion-sensor light switches, programmable thermostats, and energy-efficient lights throughout the building. The results? Energy costs have already dropped over $3,000 per year!
Our Facilities Team cares for the building, all on a volunteer basis, and includes hours of cleaning inside and clean up outside every week that makes our building shine and our grounds simply beautiful.
