At the very first practice, Choir Director Dave Stumo welcomed ten singers. Now the group has grown to about 20 if they are all present, pushing us to a third row of chairs in the “choir loft” at the front of the sanctuary. Michael Snyder was available to accompany for the practice session pictured; without his presence, Stumo is doing double-time.
Shown here leading at that same practice, Stumo has been quite pleased with the turnout – and with the results! “You know, we really sound pretty good,” he says. “And if we continue to have good practice sessions we will sound even better. Especially if we could get a couple more tenors!”
Practice is held on Fridays from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. If you enjoy singing and have the time, come join this group. The members enjoy their service as a conduit to God!
