Christmas Shoe Box Gifts

Thank-you to everyone who participated in our 2011-12 service learning project Christmas Shoe Box Gifts. On Sunday, November 6th, Jump Start and friends packed up the donated materials at 10 a.m. Many contributed to this great "giving" project and our children learned to give of themselves.

Jump Start meets at 10 a.m. in the Spirit of Hope Sanctuary. This program is open children from preschool age (3-4 years old and potty-trained) through the 6th grade. Older siblings and family members are invited to join in the fun by volunteering. Contact Michelle Scavo, mscavo@cox.net if you have questions.

Christmas Spirit? Let's Hear it!

Jump Start is participating in the Children's Christmas Program "Christmas Spirit? Let's Hear it!" through the month of December (instead of regular Jump Start). The schedule is as follows:

December 4th, 10 a.m. Practice - putting the parts together

December 11th, 10 a.m. Practice

December 17th, 9 a.m. Dress Rehearsal at Church

(with Jesus' Birthday following at 11 a.m.)

December 18th, 10 a.m. Program at Spirit of Hope in the Sanctuary

If you would like your child to be a part of this program, please fill out the Jump Start registration (below). Be sure to include your phone number and e-mail address. We are going to be sending out reminders and dates of activities through e-mail on a regular basis and we do not want you to miss a moment of the fun! Or you can fill out a registration form in the narthex and place it in the basket under the Jump Start poster.
