	Mom's Group: Our Mom's group is comprised of mothers of pre-schoolers who plan weekly activities for their "Little Spirits, toddlers and Pre-schoolers". This group meets at 9:00 am on Wednesdays (unless otherwise noted). This is a wonderful opportunity for the kids to interact together and for Moms to make new friends! Contact Danielle at danielleheinle@yahoo.com for more details. Email Prayer Circle Your prayer requests can be sent to masseyfj5@msn.com. Prayer requests can be kept anonymous if you wish.

	Social Outreach Partners with Lutheran Social Ministry in serving needy families with a food shelf, rental assistance and Circle of Friends. Many of our members volunteer at the East Valley Lutheran Thrift Store, which provides means with which to do evangelism in our area. We also serve dinners at the Men's Transitional Center housing for the homeless. Please check with us for more information on meeting times and locations. Fellowship Coffee Hour Bunny Rockwell serves coffee after church. Men's Ministry P.I.G.S. (Pretty Interesting Guy Stuff) Meets for a weekly Bible study on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm at the church. Prior Presidents Huddle This Huddle is for people who have served as president in a former congregation and are willing to share their knowledge and experience to benefit our congregation. The group will meet monthly and start by assisting in the drafting of policies on the use of the new facilities. Contact Terry Williams at ternmar@cox.net for more information. Golf Huddle Golf outings will be held at the Sunland Village East Club House on the last Sunday of each month until April. Sign up information is available in the lobby. Contact John Bergstrom at 354-0566 for details. Women's Bible Study Groups One of our women's groups meets every Thursday at 1:30 pm at the church. Pastor Sondra leads this Bible study. The other group meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 2:00 pm at the Senior Cottages in Apache Junction. Contact Bunny Rockwell for more information on this Bible study group. Spirit Of Hope Youth
Teen Night

We meet every Wednesday evening at 6:15 pm. All TEENS - seventh grade and up, are invited to an evening of games, singing, and study. Luther's small catechism is totally covered over a two/three year period. Each youth has an opportunity to confirm their faith through a process of reflecting upon class material, one's spiritual journey, parental guidance and pastoral assistance. The wonderful gift that TEEN NIGHT offers is that you are never too old to attend. Parents are encouraged to come and stay, or participate with the teens.

Luther League

L.L. is the service and recreational part of our youth program. Youth are encouraged to participate in community programs such as food drives for the Lutheran Social Ministries Food Bank and other activities that fullfill the needs of the community. Recreational activities like bowling, over-nites, scavanger hunts, pool parties, Diamonback's games and attending youth gathering events round out a balanced approach to youth ministry.
