Glen Stadler - Senior Pastor prglen@spiritofhopelutheran.com I'm Pastor Glen Stadler. I arrived in Arizona
in January 1999 to develop a new congregation which is now named Spirit of Hope
Lutheran Church. You might have seen me wandering in your neighborhood, going
door to door, inviting people to worship. I enjoy these new encounters
with people and am thankful that God has graciously allowed me to be a part of
this exciting new venture.
I completed my undergraduate work at the University
of Minnesota in Minneapolis
and later received my Master of Divinity Degree from Luther Seminary in St.
Paul, Minnesota.
Prior to my arrival in Arizona, I
served in congregations in Noonan, North
Dakota (1978-80), Greenbush,
Minnesota (1980-87), and Pelican Rapids, Minnesota
(1987-1998).
My wife, Lee, and I have two children. Our older daughter, Sarah, is married to
Ben. Sarah is pastor at St. Peter's Lutheran
Church in Denver,
IA. Our younger daughter, Mindy
is a Physician's Assistant in a dermatology office in Phoenix.
We are excited about being a part of the Mesa
community and are grateful that we can be of assistance to those who are in
emotional, spiritual, or physical need. We have learned that if we let God
direct our lives, it will unfold in a way that brings everything necessary to
our spiritual and physical well being. We invite you to let us impart faith and
hope to you in our new Spirit of Hope community. Please accept our invitation
and get to know us.

Cheryl Gibson - Administrative Assistant cheryl@spiritofhopelutheran.com
I have been a member of Spirit of Hope since 2002. I grew up in Indiana and went to Ball State University in Muncie. I married my husband in 1981 and I've been working in the graphic arts field most of the time since, first in Indiana, where I worked first for a small recording and publishing company, and then in Tucson, where I designed ads for a small newspaper.
Our sons were both born in Arizona, where we all like the sunshine. I enjoy working on the newsletter and the bulletin.
Becoming a part of Spirit of Hope has had an impact on my life and my family. I really feel part of a community centered in Christ and hope that God will use my time and talents to best serve Him.
