Lutherans are people called together by the Holy Spirit who Easter Sunrise Service
worship and believe in the Triune God.  We are part of the
one holy catholic church of Jesus Christ.

Historically, Lutherans are a church with a rich heritage. Our confessions of faith have immediate roots in the Protestant Reformation begun by Martin Luther in the 16th century.  Our origin reaches back to the teachings and faith of the first Aposltes.

As Lutherans we:

Believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God.

Regard the Bible as the authoritative source for all we believe and teach.
Trust in Jesus as our saving Lord.
Accept the ancient faith statements of the Christian church, including the Apostles Creed, Nicene Creed,
           and the Athenasian Creed.

Believe that our broken relationship with God has been healed by the death and resurrection of Jesus,
           the Son of God.

Believe a person is justified (saved), not through merit, but only by God's grace through faith.
Believe the gracious gift of forgiveness comes from God through our faith in Jesus Christ.
